Monroe, NY – Playing golf on the beautiful Mansion Ridge Golf Course and CHCM raising money to help those in need - it doesn’t get better than that.

For the 7th time, the Mansion Ridge Golf Club has hosted the Christ Health Care Ministry (CHCM) charitable golf tournament with the money raised going to provide healthcare and spiritual care to address the unmet physical and spiritual needs of the low-income residents and the uninsured.

This charitable event starts with a box continental breakfast followed by tournament instructions from Mansion Ridge’s Director of Golf, Nick Schremser, and a brief welcome and “thank you” from the CHCM Tournament organizers. At 8:00 AM the 4 golfer teams for their assigned tees to begin play with a shotgun start.

At the conclusion of play the team of Ira Steingart, Nathan Steingart, Cindy Permutter, and Pravin Singh were crowned the 7th Annual 2022 CHCM Champs with a score of 13 under par 59, with second place going to the team of Leon Newhawk, Dave McDermott, Pete Diaz and Bruce Bailey with a score of 12 under par 60.

Additional prizes were awarded to the best performers in the skill events including Karen Franza in the Women’s Closest to the Pin competition and John Whiting took the Men’s Closest to the Pin prize. Jason Vogel took Longest Drive honors for his drive on hole #9 with Mimi Andalis took long drive honors for the women. Bruce Baily won the Straight Drive competition on hole #11. The Most Honest Team award when to Dale Francis, Jerry Francis, Sam Sutter, and Doug Wade.
